Small containment, flush and painted in.

Basket, tray, trunking and conduit for cable routes that disappear into the building. Olympus Networks installs containment flush to walls and ceilings, paints it in where it shows, and gives the cabling a protected, expandable route rather than a loop of cable taped to a wall.

What you get on every small containment job.

Scope scales with the site, but these are the things Olympus Networks does as standard on any small containment job.

01 / 06

Basket and cable tray

Wire basket and steel tray run level and supported at proper centres, sized with headroom so cables can be added later without a re-fit.

02 / 06

Trunking and dado

Surface trunking and dado run straight and clipped, with outlets boxed into the trunking for a clean, finished look in offices and shops.

03 / 06

Conduit

Metal and PVC conduit where cables need full mechanical protection, bent and run neatly rather than forced around obstacles.

04 / 06

Flush to walls and ceilings

Containment fixed flush and level so it sits as part of the building, not bolted on as an afterthought.

05 / 06

Painted in where it shows

On finished or domestic spaces we paint surface containment in to match the wall so the route effectively disappears.

06 / 06

Sized for expansion

Containment specced with spare capacity, so the next cable pull does not mean ripping out and replacing the route.

Frequently asked

Common questions, plainly answered.

Why use containment instead of clipping cables?

Containment protects cables, keeps them tidy, and leaves a clear route to add more later. Loose clipped cables get damaged, look untidy, and have to be re-run every time something changes.

Will the containment be visible?

Where it runs through voids and ceilings, no. Where it has to be on show, we run it flush and level and can paint surface trunking in to match the wall.

Can you add containment to an existing route?

Yes. We can install containment along an existing cable route and migrate the cables into it, giving a tidy protected run without re-cabling from scratch.

Do you size containment for future cables?

Yes. We specify containment with spare capacity so adding cables later is a simple pull, not a strip-out and replace.

Is small containment something you do on its own?

Yes. We will install containment as a standalone job, or as the first stage of a cabling install so the route is ready before the cable goes in.
